UPS Gives Its Biggest Dividend Hike in 5 Years


United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.52 per share today, a 10.6% improvement over the $0.47 paid each of the last four quarters by the logistics giant.

Shares of UPS closed at $74.29 (+0.34%) today, where they now carry a 2.80% dividend yield.

Today’s increase is the biggest since the beginning of 2006 from UPS, which has now more than tripled its payout since 2000.
