Senior Housing Raises Dividend to $0.37


Senior Housing Properties Trust (SNH) will now pay a regular dividend of $0.37 per share, up from the $0.36 it had paid each of the last five quarters. The 2.8% raise gives shares of SNH a 6.1% dividend yield at today’s $24.27 opening price.

Senior Housing is a Massachusetts-based REIT specializing in assisted living communities, nursing homes, rehab hospitals, and wellness centers. The company began paying quarterly dividends in 2000, and has raised their dividend rate by a total of 20% in the ensuing decade.
