Landauer Raises Dividend for 9th Straight Year


Landauer, Inc. (LDR) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.55 per share this morning, a 2.3% increase over the $0.5375 paid each of the last four quarters.

Shares of LDR closed at $67.10 yesterday, where they now carry a 3.28% dividend yield.

The ex-dividend date for Landauer’s first payment under the new rate is December 8, which makes 2010 the ninth consecutive year the company has increased the total amount returned to shareholders, and puts it in position to do the same next year. Since holding its dividend flat for a four year period (1998 to 2002), Landauer has raised its dividend rate by 57%.
