Harleysville Group Reaches 25 Years of Dividend Growth


Harleysville Group (HGIC) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.38 per share this afternoon, topping its previous four payouts by 5.6%. This marks the 25th consecutive year the insurance holding company has given its shareholders a raise.

Shares of HGIC closed Friday’s session trading at $29.50, where they now carry a 5.15% dividend yield.

The Class B Dividend Dynamo is one of only 102 companies to raise its dividend output every year since 1987.
