GATX Gives Shareholders a 3% Raise


GATX Corporation (GMT) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.30 per share today, which is a 3% increase over the $0.29 per share paid each of the previous four quarters by the transportation equipment leasing company.

This is the second consecutive year GATX has given its shareholders a raise. The company also bumped its quarterly rate by a penny last January.

Shares of GMT are currently trading at $43.64, where they now yield 2.75%.
