Avon Raises Dividend For 22nd Consecutive Year


Avon Products, Inc. (AVP) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.23 per share today, a 4.6% improvement over the $0.22 per share paid each of the last four quarters by the beauty product manufacturer.

Shares of AVP are trading at $28.87 (+1.55%) this afternoon, where they now carry a 3.19% dividend yield.

Avon has increased its annual dividend total every year dating back to 1990, improving its payout by a total of 636% over that span. The company’s last three dividend hikes have boosted its quarterly rate by a penny per share, and this is its smallest increase (percentage-wise) since a 2.70% boost in 2001.
