Autoliv Pushes Dividend to Another All-Time High


Autoliv Inc. (ALV) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.47 per share today, which is a 4.4% increase over its prior payout and a 9.3% improvement over the dividend paid during the same period last year by the maker of automotive safety systems.

This marks the fifth dividend hike from Autoliv since reinstating its payout after a five quarter hiatus in 2010. The company completed its dividend comeback by matching its pre-cut peak in December 2010, pushed its dividend to a new all-time high last February, and completed four consecutive quarters of dividend growth with a 4.7% increase last May.

Shares of ALV are currently trading at $68.47, where they now feature a 2.75% dividend yield. The stock is already up 24% on the year.
