Acorn Initiates Quarterly Dividend, Adds Special Payout


Acorn Energy (ACFN) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.035 per share this afternoon, which will be the first time the energy technology holding company has ever returned cash to its shareholders.

Acorn, which came public more than 19 years ago, also announced a special year-end dividend of $0.05 per share.

Shares of ACFN closed Monday’s session trading at $5.42, where they now feature a 2.58% dividend yield. The special payout represents 0.92% of Acorn’s current stock price.
